About Who we are
The Gmailbox.org (Global Mailbox) was created by Joaquim Rocha, as a way to fill a void in the email services, namely, the lack of a mail forward service to protect the privacy of your email address and prevent it from being flooded daily with spam.
Erlang is a programming language used to build real-time systems, massively scalable and with high availability requirements. And for that reason it was the programming language chosen to build the Gmailbox.org.
Kill-Bill is the application server developed by the Gmailbox.org team to support the features required to implement the same. The server is free software and is available in open source.
The Linode is a cloud hosting company, whose services we use in projects since 2009. The integrity and quality of the services provided, make the company the natural choice for this project.
